What you will do

• Design, build, and enhance Java components for large-scale, high-throughput trade processing systems.
• Ensure performance, reliability, and latency requirements for processing millions of inbound transactions.
• Leverage AI-enabled development tools such as GitHub Copilot in the coding workflow.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and engineers to design scalable and resilient systems.
• Write clean, maintainable Java code using modern frameworks and practices.
• Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States to work onsite/hybrid in Iselin, NJ.
• Strong hands-on Java development experience with modern versions and frameworks.
• Experience designing and implementing high-volume, distributed, or real-time data processing systems.
• Comfort working with AI coding tools, ideally GitHub Copilot.
• Proficiency in API development, backend architecture, and system design.

Nice to have

• Experience with automation testing tools such as Java-based test frameworks, Selenium, Cucumber, and Python-based automation.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated test integration.
• Experience in financial services or trading systems with high-throughput and low-latency environments.
• Developing automated test scripts for API, database, and functional validation.
