What you will do

• Own the end-to-end design of the client-facing product alongside product and engineering teams
• Define and maintain visual identity, design system, and brand standards across digital and print
• Translate complex financial and regulatory concepts into clear, accessible interfaces and communications
• Support marketing with asset creation for campaigns, reports, presentations, and web
• Establish scalable design processes and tooling as the team grows

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or near Rotterdam, Netherlands
• 5+ years of experience in product or UX design with brand or visual design exposure
• Strong portfolio demonstrating work on complex, data-rich, or regulated-industry products
• Proficiency in Figma and design systems
• Ability to operate independently and prioritize effectively
• Experience in startup or scale-up environments building from scratch

Nice to have

• Background in fintech, crypto, or regulated financial services
• Experience hiring and mentoring junior designers
• Familiarity with frontend handoff workflows (e.g., React environments)
