TL;DR

Software Engineer (AI): Building an AI-driven Product Discovery Agent for Search, adding an intelligent layer on top of an existing search engine to transform how users interact with products, navigation, and intent. Focus on continuously improving response times and reducing inference costs to create scalable and efficient solutions.

Location: Hybrid work approach, on-site at least three days a week in Lund, Sweden

Salary: 5000 SEK in wellness allowance

What you will do

• Design and build AI agents for search and product discovery, using Java and/or Python.
• Work hands-on with prompt engineering and continuous optimization.
• Optimize for latency, scalability, and cost-efficiency (LLM usage, orchestration, caching, etc.).
• Evaluate new technologies in a rapidly evolving AI landscape.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and long-term technical direction.
• Design and implement APIs.

Requirements

• A Master's degree in Computer Science, or a comparable industry career.
• Strong backend development experience.
• Practical experience working with LLMs and AI APIs.
• Experience or strong interest in prompt engineering and agent design.
• An understanding of performance optimization and cost-aware system design.
• Passion for innovation & continuous improvement.
