What you will do

  • Build and scale infrastructure to support billions of messages and real-time events
  • Automate deployments, alerting, and incident response processes
  • Improve on-call experience with clear alerts and faster resolution
  • Tune MySQL and enhance reliability of distributed systems
  • Collaborate across teams to debug, ship, and support production systems
  • Share knowledge publicly through videos, writing, and mentorship
  • Leverage AI tools to prototype and improve decision-making

Requirements

  • 7+ years experience in SRE or infrastructure roles
  • Deep MySQL expertise including schema design and performance tuning
  • Fluency in cloud-native technologies; GCP and Terraform preferred
  • Proficiency in Go and Bash scripting
  • Strong skills in observability, incident response, and debugging distributed systems
  • Preference for action and ownership of technical decisions
