What you will do

• Contribute to mobile application architecture and select appropriate libraries and tools for robustness, scalability, and security.
• Write clean, high-quality, well-tested React Native code and promote coding standards and automated testing.
• Collaborate closely with Tech Lead, Product Manager, Engineering Manager, QA, Designers, and Engineers to align technical delivery with product strategy.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and mentoring of junior engineers.
• Ensure non-functional requirements like performance, reliability, and security are addressed in all solutions.
• Maintain system observability, contribute to Root Cause Analysis, and manage technical debt for long-term product health.

Requirements

• Significant experience building and maintaining complex mobile applications using React Native.
• Experience with enterprise-scale or high-availability apps and systems.
• Proven track record of launching mobile apps on App Store and/or Google Play.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and design patterns (SOLID, DRY).
• Deep experience with RESTful APIs and mobile-centric API requirements.
• Familiarity with observability practices and Root Cause Analysis.
• Understanding of secure coding and compliance requirements.
• Experience mentoring engineers and fostering collaborative team culture.
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and continuous improvement.

Nice to have

• Native mobile development experience (Swift/Kotlin) for performance-critical components.
• Hands-on experience setting up CI/CD pipelines for React Native apps (Fastlane, Bitrise, GitHub Actions).
• Knowledge of PHP ecosystem to facilitate backend collaboration.
