At EVENTIM Benelux , working on our product Paylogic , your code helps fans enter Tomorrowland, Defqon.1, Paradiso and Dutch Design Week. From purchasing tickets in white-label shops, to managing events in merchant dashboards, to processing payments and automated payouts, our platform makes it all possible.

You’ll join our international team in Groningen or Amsterdam, working on the core services of our ticketing platform: high-traffic shops, event management tools and payment systems used by millions of fans and organisers.

What you’ll do

• Build scalable backend services in Python (Flask / FastAPI).
• Develop applications used daily by fans and organisers — from ticket shops to payment services.
• Design and deliver new features that support our international growth.
• Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code that performs under high traffic.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers and stakeholders to solve real-world challenges.

Our tech stack

• Backend: Python, FastAPI, Flask, Celery, Redis, Memcached, MySQL, SQLAlchemy
• Testing: Pytest, Selenium
• Way of working: Agile-inspired — sprints, daily stand-ups, demos, retrospectives and a continuous drive to improve.

What we’re looking for

• Around 5 years of professional backend experience, including 2+ years with Python.
• Solid experience building APIs, integrating external services and working with relational databases.
• A passion for writing clean, scalable and well-tested code.
• Strong communication skills, you enjoy collaborating and value constructive feedback.
• Based in (or open to relocating to) Groningen or Amsterdam visa sponsorship and relocation support available.
• A degree in Computer Science or comparable professional experience.
