Senior Software Engineer (C++)

TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (C++): Developing and optimizing multithreaded C++ tooling systems for high-performance sports technology with an accent on hardware interfacing, network protocols, and audio/video processing. Focus on building robust, efficient code and supporting live event deployments in a hybrid work environment.

Location: Hybrid in Budapest, Hungary (2 days a week in office minimum)

Salary: HUF 1.5M - HUF 2.2M per month

What you will do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement tooling system components
• Develop multithreaded, performance-optimized C++ code for hardware interfacing, network protocols, and audio/video processing
• Participate in field testing and support live event deployments
• Partner with product teams and customers to refine solutions
• Lead technical discussions and design decisions
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers

Requirements

• Location: Must work hybrid with minimum 2 days per week in Budapest office
• Proficiency in modern C++ (up to C++20)
• Experience with multithreaded, performance-optimized code
• Familiarity with Git, Visual Studio, Qt, FFmpeg, OpenGL, and audio processing tools
• Knowledge of network protocols or video/audio encoding is a plus
• Proactive mindset and eagerness to learn

• Experience with AWS
