Senior Software Engineer (Backend .NET)

What you will do

• Develop and deliver well-defined, moderately complex backend features.
• Debug and resolve issues across development, testing, and production environments.
• Write high-quality, scalable, and reusable code following best practices.
• Manage team meetings and RFC processes for proposing changes and improvements.
• Act as initial on-call responder for team-managed software and mentor junior engineers.
• Participate in hiring and contribute to process improvements.

Requirements

• Must be located in or able to work from Vienna, Austria.
• Expert knowledge of C# and .NET Framework technologies.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design, multithreading, async and parallel programming.
• Experience with WebApi development (REST, gRPC) and messaging solutions (TIBCO, Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Proficient in software testing including unit and load/performance testing.
• Experience troubleshooting performance issues using diagnostic tools like OpenTelemetry and Grafana.
