Informatica Platform Engineer (Customer Data): Designing and building a new MDM platform for customer data, enabling CRM modernization and supporting data engineers, data scientists, DQ, and DevOps teams. What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain the customer data platform architecture using Informatica IDMC, Event Hub/Kafka, APIM/microservices, and Databricks.
• Implement platform automation and Infrastructure as Code for consistent environment provisioning.
• Ensure privacy and security by design, meeting GDPR/PII requirements.
• Provide and operate shared platform services, including schema registry, feature store infra, metadata & lineage (Collibra), and orchestrators.
• Embed SRE practices, defining SLIs/SLOs/SLAs and implementing observability.
• Optimize performance, reliability, and cost of the platform components.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar technical engineering role.
• Hands-on experience with modern cloud data platforms: Informatica, Databricks, Event Hub/Kafka, Azure.
• Strong IaC skills and CI/CD exposure (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions).
• Knowledge of Informatica (IDMC) in development, administration, and operations.
• Solid grasp of networking & security concepts (private endpoints, managed identities, encryption).
• Familiarity with customer-data concepts (Customer 360/MDM, CRM integrations, Salesforce, GDPR implications).
• Must be located in the Netherlands; relocation is not possible for this role.

Nice to have

• Experience with Collibra.
• Familiarity with Grafana, Prometheus, or Splunk.
