Network Engineer (Trading Infrastructure): Managing and safeguarding the trading infrastructure network in line with business goals, driving experiments and research to deliver low and ultra-low latency solutions for trading. Focus on maintaining the hirify.global network across multiple production environments, capacity planning, and detecting congestion problems.
Location: Must be based in our Limassol office, Cyprus. Full relocation support is offered.

What you will do
- Work directly with the Trading and Infrastructure units to drive pricing and trading solutions development and improvement.
- Develop and implement the architecture and infrastructure of connections to data sources and exchanges.
- Serve as a hands-on technical expert providing guidance on network and problem resolution.
- Participate in technical research, planning, and documentation for assigned projects and issues.
- Ensure smooth operations, providing documentation and tools for management and monitoring.
- Create automation for repeating tasks.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in networks design and operations.
- Industry certification by any network vendor or equivalent to CCNP experience.
- Hands-on experience with network monitoring, including open-source products.
- Advanced knowledge in TCP/IP stack, L2-3 networks based on Cisco, and switching and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
- Understanding of containerization (Docker) and cloud services (AWS).
- Spoken and written English - intermediate level.
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, GoogleCloud).
- Knowledge of Cloud services operations, container technologies.
- Knowledge of WAN architectures.
- Degree in physical, mathematical or computer sciences.
