What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality, scalable backend services using Node.js.
• Actively contribute to system and component-level architectural design discussions, focusing on asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
• Deliver complex features independently while collaborating with Tech Leads and Product Managers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve intricate application and production issues to ensure system stability.
• Participate in rigorous code reviews and mentor junior engineers to maintain high coding standards.
• Partner with Product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver cohesive, end-to-end technical solutions.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience with Node.js, including deep knowledge of its runtime, event loop, and asynchronous patterns.
• Professional experience with Serverless architectures and cloud-native development.
• Proficiency with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Elasticsearch.
• Professional experience with the Angular framework.
• Solid understanding of software design principles (SOLID, DRY) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with Ruby on Rails development.
• Experience with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3).
• Experience working with distributed systems and microservices.
• Exposure to performance tuning, monitoring (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog), and observability tools.
• Prior experience mentoring junior engineers.
