What you will do

• Define strategic AI capabilities aligned to the business and product roadmap.
• Architect and build foundational AI platforms and orchestration layers.
• Act as a multiplier by mentoring teams and driving organizational knowledge sharing.
• Make high-level technical decisions, including evaluating build-vs-buy choices for platforms and tooling.
• Shape Komodo’s data strategy from an AI perspective.
• Lead complex applied research initiatives that push new AI capability frontiers.

Requirements

• Recognized expert in applied AI with demonstrated impact across multiple teams.
• Extensive experience architecting end-to-end AI systems, multi-agent architectures, and large-scale orchestration frameworks.
• Deep technical sophistication with LLMs, agent safety, responsible AI, observability, and ML lifecycle governance.
• Strong fluency in Python, GenAI frameworks (vLLM, Strands, Crew AI), and full-stack system integration.
• Experience influencing strategic technical direction and driving adoption of foundational AI frameworks.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to align diverse stakeholders.
• Location: Must be based in the US.
• Work authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
