What you will do

• Define and enforce best practices for code governance, naming conventions, and reusable components across middleware.
• Build and maintain "Source of Truth" documentation for technical maps, ERDs, and logic flows.
• Design standardized debugging procedures and automated alerting triggers for system health maintenance.
• Own the technical integrity of integrations connecting various finance SaaS platforms like NetSuite, Salesforce, Zuora, Certinia, Coupa, and Zip.
• Lead the implementation of high-logic integrations, such as automated revenue recognition triggers or complex multi-currency reconciliations.
• Mentor junior/offshore developers, perform code reviews, and refine the Agile delivery model with clear Jira stories and LOE estimations.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in integration engineering, specifically within the Finance/FinTech domain.
• Expert-level proficiency in Workato.
• Deep understanding of financial data objects (Invoices, GL Strings, Purchase Orders, Revenue Schedules) and their transit between SaaS platforms.
• Advanced proficiency in Python or JavaScript for custom scripting, expert SQL, and deep experience with REST/SOAP/Webhooks.
• Exceptional ability to influence both technical developers and non-technical finance executives.
• Must be based in Austin, TX.

Nice to have

• Experience with MuleSoft, Boomi, or SnapLogic middleware.
