What you will do

• Contribute to full-stack development, owning features across the stack using React and Next.js.
• Dive deep into complex domain logic, third-party integrations, and performance challenges.
• Take ownership, make architectural decisions, and influence the platform's evolution.
• Design clean, well-documented APIs and collaborate with frontend engineers.
• Optimize application performance, security, and infrastructure reliability.
• Mentor other engineers, delegate tasks, and improve development processes and engineering standards.

Requirements

• Strong full-stack engineering fundamentals with a solid backend foundation (clean architecture, design patterns, testing).
• Solid experience with PHP (ideally Laravel or Symfony) and strong experience with React/Next.js.
• Comfortable working across the stack and stepping outside a narrow role when needed.
• Confidently design and navigate complex business and domain logic.
• Write reliable, well-tested code and follow best engineering practices.
• Work autonomously, from system design through implementation, deployment, and optimization.
• Must be based in Spain.
