Finance Data Analyst (Fintech)

TL;DR

Finance Data Analyst (Fintech): Responsible for establishing a comprehensive Procurement KPI tracking framework and proactively identifying opportunities for process improvements through data analysis and Procurement/BI tools. Focus on designing and implementing dashboards to provide actionable insights and support decision-making for the Procurement team.

Location: Hybrid 2-3 times/week in Sao Paulo, Brazil

What you will do

• Lead the creation and establishment of a comprehensive Procurement KPI tracking framework.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process and efficiency improvements through data analysis and Procurement/BI tools.
• Contribute to financial and Procurement data reporting, ensuring the delivery of reliable and timely information for various stakeholders.
• Engage with stakeholders across the organization to map data sources and ensure accurate data representation.
• Develop and maintain datasets in BI and Data tools, enabling scalable data manipulation and analysis.
• Design and implement dashboards to provide actionable insights and support decision-making for the Procurement team.

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
• Proficiency in SQL, Scala and/or Python for data analysis and experience with data visualization tools.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
• Experience with financial technologies and a strong passion for business, economy, finance, and technology.
• Understanding of financial statements and accounting data structure.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with sourcing and procurement processes is a plus.
• Language: Intermediate English; Spanish is a beneficial addition.
