TL;DR

DevOps Lead (DevOps): Designing and operating production-grade cloud infrastructure with an accent on Kubernetes, GitOps pipelines, and AWS end-to-end ownership. Focus on implementing AI-assisted DevOps workflows, solving scaling challenges, and leading a small team.

Location: Remote in EST or CST time zones. Must work EST hours. Canada also considered.

Salary: $180,000–$240,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Design and operate production-grade cloud infrastructure (70-80% hands-on).
• Manage and mentor 1–2 DevOps engineers as a player-coach.
• Design and operate Kubernetes (EKS) in production.
• Build GitOps pipelines using GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.
• Own AWS infrastructure end-to-end.
• Drive observability, reliability, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Lead the implementation of AI-assisted DevOps workflows.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform, or SRE roles.
• Deep Kubernetes experience in production is non-negotiable.
• Strong AWS experience.
• GitOps experience (ArgoCD preferred).
• Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) expertise.
• 1–3 years of formal people management experience with direct reports.
• Comfortable working EST hours.
