Location: This is a full-time and remote-friendly position based in Vienna, Austria. Occasional trips to Vienna.

Salary: Minimum gross salary of €80,000 yearly if filled in Vienna.

What you will do

• Drive the technical approach, work breakdown, execution, and delivery of projects within platform teams.
• Support your team with deep code reviews, guiding towards better system quality and engineering practices.
• Participate in shaping new features by contributing to PoCs and breaking down technical scopes.
• Influence architecture, focus on performance and security, and advocate for best engineering practices.
• Participate in strategic cross-product engineering initiatives and provide pragmatic technical decisions.
• Increase your impact beyond your product development team to the whole engineering organization.

Requirements

• Daily use of AI tools (coding copilots, LLM-based design assistants) and ability to integrate AI into workflows.
• Fluency in Python (preferably Django) with experience managing large-scale production systems and building REST APIs.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies like TypeScript and (preferably) React or Vue.js.
• Skill in performing and validating AI-assisted code reviews, evaluating LLM outputs for correctness.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, proactive and good at written communication.
• Passion for learning, experimenting, and turning new AI tools into practical, repeatable workflows.

• Successfully mentored and coached engineers.
• Experience with data products and their challenges.
• Skill in demonstrating AI-driven productivity to peers and driving adoption within technical teams.
