Location: Hybrid in Berlin, Germany (3 days in-office, 2 days remote). Remote options are available after the first year.

What you will do

• Apply modern C++ (C++20/C++23) concepts and architecture to ensure code scalability.
• Maintain and extend communication standards for various retail POS solutions.
• Optimize hardware utilization across different platforms.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, tests, and static code checks.
• Help prototype and develop new features and products.

Requirements

• In-depth experience in modern C++ coding concepts, threading, and memory management.
• Good understanding of CMake or comparable build tools.
• Familiarity with professional software development tools like Git, Agile development, containerization, and CI/CD.
• Comfortable in a hybrid setup, working 3 days in-office and 2 days remote in Berlin.
• Willingness to step in during critical issues, even outside core hours.

Nice to have

• Solid baseline in Computer Vision, image processing, or efficient ML inference.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, ML inference engines (PyTorch, ONNX, TensorRT), Conan, C++ unit testing/TDD, Python prototyping, and networking protocols (HTTP, MQTT).
