What you will do

• Contribute to several client library projects.
• Collaborate on open source projects used by developers worldwide.
• Advocate for an exceptional developer experience and best practices.
• Help adding support for existing and new hirify.global features to client libraries.
• Act as technical lead for initiatives beyond the scope of a single programming language.
• Work closely with external contributors, library users, client developers, product managers, and collaborate cross-functionally with other engineering teams.

Requirements

• Be a real team player with the ability to communicate technical terms and concepts clearly.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and work environments and experience with designing software solutions from scratch.
• At least 6 years of hands-on development experience.
• Proficiency in Go (with at least 2 years of experience).
• Proficiency in one or more of the following languages (with at least 2 years of combined experience): Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or PHP.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in another programming language, for instance C, C++, Rust, or Zig.
• Strong understanding of distributed database systems and network technologies.
• Experience with maintaining a public open source library.
• Practical experience with database systems.
• Familiarity with Linux.
