What you will do

• Design dimensional models (fact tables, conformed dimensions, SCD types) and/or 3NF or Data Vault structures appropriate for business and technical requirements.
• Create and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models that adhere to enterprise architecture standards.
• Generate DDL and collaborate with engineering teams on schema deployment, indexing strategies, and performance optimization.
• Contribute to data lineage, cataloging, and metadata management efforts in partnership with Data Governance teams.
• Clearly communicate model changes, business impacts, and dependencies to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in data modeling, including dimensional modeling (star, snowflake), normalization (3NF), and/or Data Vault 2.0.
• Strong SQL and DDL skills, with the ability to reason about query performance, indexing, and partitioning.
• Familiarity with data quality, metadata, and data lineage practices.
• Proficiency with at least one enterprise data modeling tool, such as SAP PowerDesigner, ERwin Data Modeler, or Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeler.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, bridging technical and business perspectives.
• Awareness of ETL/ELT and orchestration concepts (e.g., Informatica, SSIS, Talend, Matillion, dbt, Airflow, ADF, Databricks).
