Location: Workation possibility to work from any hirify.global location (4 weeks per year, EU only)

What you will do

• Design and implement microservices-based REST APIs using SP (dot) NET Core.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand user stories and business requirements.
• Develop user stories as working software in an agile environment.
• Implement Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles with clear separation between API, Services, Domain, and Infrastructure layers.
• Ensure the entire stack is designed for performance, quality, and scalability using Entity Framework Core and SQL Server.
• Share knowledge and guide junior developers on best practices.

Requirements

• More than five years' experience with ASP (dot) NET Core Web API development (.NET 8).
• Experience with C# back-end programming language (C# 12).
• Experience with Entity Framework Core for data access and database migrations.
• Experience with SQL Server database design and management.
• Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure DevOps & Azure Cloud Services.
• Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Clean Architecture patterns.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience implementing comprehensive testing strategies including unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests using NUnit and SpecFlow.
