What you will do

• Define and champion the technology vision, aligned with business strategy, covering platform architecture, data governance, and security.
• Steer cross-functional engineering groups to deliver scalable, banking-grade software and fintech services.
• Institute robust engineering governance, including coding standards, architectural review, and release governance.
• Oversee performance optimization across JVM ecosystems, messaging layers, and data platforms for real-time analytics.
• Lead containerization efforts, orchestrated deployments, and ensure resilient CI/CD practices.
• Cultivate a culture of coaching, career progression, and performance excellence across tech teams.

Requirements

• 15+ years in hands-on software development with a strong emphasis on Java and Spring Boot.
• 8+ years in leadership, guiding engineering teams, ideally within fintech or financial services.
• Proven experience building financial systems, payment rails, or banking-grade platforms.
• Expertise in event-driven architectures and real-time messaging systems.
• Proficiency with cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure) and version control tools (Git, Bitbucket).
• Deep knowledge of JVM internals, performance tuning, and database proficiency (SQL, NoSQL, Redis).
