What you will do

• Estimate testing efforts and participate in early planning phases to ensure comprehensive quality coverage across the SDLC.
• Design, document, and execute functional, regression, performance, and acceptance test cases.
• Identify, document, and validate defects and measure product stability through test metrics.
• Manage and prioritize the automation backlog and collaborate with automation engineers to increase test coverage.
• Leverage Agentic AI tools to enhance productivity and testing efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geology, Geophysics, Computer Science, or a related Engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance within complex software environments, preferably in geoscience or energy industry domains.
• Strong experience designing and executing manual regression, functional, and performance testing strategies.
• Hands-on experience managing test cases and defects using tools such as Azure DevOps or similar platforms.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and tools (e.g., GitLab) within Agile environments.
• Proficiency working across both Windows and Linux platforms.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience using automation tools and frameworks to increase quality coverage.
• Experience leveraging Agentic AI or AI-powered tools to improve productivity and quality processes.
• Strong communication skills, collaborative mindset, and ability to work effectively in distributed global teams while mentoring junior members.
