What you will do

• Serve as a cloud security subject matter expert, providing guidance on industry best practices and defense-in-depth strategies.
• Design, engineer, and implement security and operational controls in hirify.global's multi-cloud environment (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Partner with technology teams on security strategy and implementation to protect intellectual property and customer data globally.
• Perform technical risk assessments of new technologies and ensure secure architecture designs.
• Proactively identify security deficiencies and recommend configuration settings or supporting solutions to mitigate risks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience implementing security solutions.
• Strong cybersecurity background and knowledge of cyber threat vectors and countermeasures.
• Understanding of Linux/Unix, Windows platforms, Cloud Infrastructure, Cloud Security, and networking concepts.
• Strong knowledge of industry-standard security technology (anti-virus, SIEM, SOAR, vulnerability scanning, DLP, firewall, IDS/IPS).
• Strong experience with scripting and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
• Experience with industry frameworks such as SOC1/SOC2, HITRUST, ISO and solid understanding of audit methodologies.
• English: B2 required.

• Experience developing and operationalizing a vulnerability management program.
• Experience working with container-based architectures.
