What you will do

• Architect services aggregating domain APIs, focusing on caching, resilience, and event streaming integration.
• Lead the migration of legacy web pages using strangler patterns to improve UX and performance.
• Design and evolve GraphQL schemas with clear service boundaries to support new workflows.
• Optimize web performance including Core Web Vitals and bundle size reduction.
• Establish comprehensive test pyramids and CI/CD quality gates for system reliability.
• Mentor senior and mid-level engineers, fostering technical growth and T-shaped skill development.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in fullstack or web services development.
• 3+ years of experience in technical leadership.
• Expertise in GraphQL schema and resolver design at scale.
• Proficiency in Node.js, Kotlin, or Java production API architecture.
• Experience delivering multi-quarter migration or platform initiatives.
• Strong technical communication skills including RFCs and data-backed proposals.

Nice to have

• Experience with React Server Components or Streaming SSR.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services like ECS, Lambda, and Aurora.
• Familiarity with event-driven design using Kafka.
• Understanding of security best practices including OAuth 2.0 and OWASP.
