Java Spring Developer (Fintech)

TL;DR

Java Spring Developer (Fintech): Developing Java applications using the Spring ecosystem, focusing on regulatory frameworks, OTC products, and listed derivatives. Focus on working in both Linux and Windows environments and understanding of software design patterns.

Location: Hybrid, 2 times a week in the Lisbon office. Requires Portuguese or other EU citizenship, or a valid Portuguese work permit.

What you will do

• Develop applications using Java and the Spring ecosystem.
• Work with release and deployment management tools.
• Apply software design patterns and SOLID principles.
• Work with databases such as Oracle and SingleStore.
• Understand regulatory frameworks.

Requirements

• More than 4 years of professional experience in a similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot, Core, Batch, Data, Hibernate, and JPA, as well as solid exposure to Angular 10 and REST API development.
• Knowledge of C# is required.
• Proficiency with development and CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, Maven, Sonar, and Bitbucket.
• Experience working with release and deployment management tools including XL Release, XL Deploy, and Ctrl-M.
• English language skills at least level B2
• Availability for a hybrid work model, 2 times a week in the Lisbon office (requires Portuguese or other EU citizenship, or a valid Portuguese work permit).

Nice to have

• French language skills at least level B1 would be a plus.
