What you will do

• Listen to audio recordings in French Canadian and transcribe content with a high level of accuracy.
• Add timestamps to transcriptions to ensure alignment with the audio.
• Tag recordings with emotions, context, and other relevant metadata.
• Ensure transcriptions are culturally relevant and reflect the intended tone and meaning.
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure consistency and quality across all transcriptions.
• Meet project deadlines and adhere to specific transcription guidelines.

Requirements

• Native or professional proficiency (C1/C2 level) in French Canadian and strong English proficiency.
• Prior experience in transcription, translation, or linguistic projects.
• Ability to understand and differentiate regional dialects, emotions, and contextual cues in audio recordings.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to deliver error-free transcriptions.
• Familiarity with transcription tools/software and the ability to work with timestamps and tagging.
• Availability to commit to deadlines and deliver consistent, high-quality work, with a minimum of 10-15 hours per week.
