Salary: €2,330 – €2,640 (monthly)

What you will do

• Perform Customer Due Diligence (CDD) on existing, new, and potential legal entity customers according to Latvian legislation.
• Carry out various levels of research and investigation, depending on case complexity, to make informed decisions.
• Work with international customers from diverse jurisdictions.
• Contribute to building an AML/CTF compliance culture and provide advice on relevant laws and regulations to internal stakeholders.
• Provide support in the creation and implementation of AML processes and procedures.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in the AML field.
• Hands-on experience in conducting due diligence reviews for legal entities across Europe and other jurisdictions.
• Strong knowledge of performing PEP, sanctions, and adverse media screening, as well as identifying links to high-risk and prohibited countries.
• Good understanding of source of funds and source of wealth reviews.
• Ability to perform complex analysis and present the findings in a structured manner.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (other European language skills are an advantage).
• Previous experience working with Latvian AML regulations.
• Previous experience working with legal entities from European Union countries.
