Backend Developer (Game Development): Building and optimizing high-quality backend services for a leading gaming entertainment supplier with an accent on software architecture, algorithms, and data structures. Focus on conducting requirement analysis, contributing to continuous product improvement, and troubleshooting issues in an Agile environment.
Location: Fully remote. This opportunity is open to you if you can legally work remotely from one of our home countries in Sweden, Malta, Hungary, Spain, Poland, or the Philippines.

What you will do
- Conduct requirement analysis and design functional and technical software.
- Develop software according to policies and processes in an Agile environment.
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement and software architecture.
- Document development work, provide daily reports, and share knowledge within squads, chapters, and guilds.
- Analyze problems, propose solutions, and help troubleshoot issues.
- Coach and mentor other developers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend development.
- Experience with C# and .NET.
- Experience with Cloud services.
- Solid understanding of software architectures, algorithms, and data structures.
- Good Design Pattern knowledge.
- Good English communication skills.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in game development.
- Understanding of multi-threaded applications.
- Ability to create comprehensive Unit testing solutions (xUnit).
- Experience with Back-end development (Orleans, SQL).
- Experience with Front-end development (HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Familiarity with Git, TeamCity, Octopus, and JIRA.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and basic probabilistic/statistical concepts.
