What you will do

• Own end-to-end Alternative Payment Method (APM) reconciliation by matching provider reports and bank movements to internal ledgers.
• Monitor APM balances, open items, and settlement cycles, investigating breaks and driving root-cause remediation with internal and external partners.
• Strengthen financial controls and reporting by defining KPIs, building close packs, maintaining audit-ready evidence, and leading automation initiatives.
• Conduct high-volume daily and weekly reconciliations across payment providers and bank accounts.
• Analyze settlement patterns and open items to identify trends and prevent revenue leakage across all APM transactions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in payment operations, reconciliation, or settlement within a Payment Service Provider (PSP), acquirer, fintech, or banking environment.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel or Google Sheets proficiency, including pivots, lookups, and large dataset handling.
• SQL proficiency to extract, join, and validate data from databases, with the ability to explain findings clearly.
• Solid understanding of payment flows and financial concepts including settlement, refunds, chargebacks, and fees.
• Strong stakeholder management skills to coordinate issue resolution with internal teams and external payment partners.
• English: Fluency required.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience reconciling Alternative Payment Methods such as iDEAL, PayPal, BNPL, or bank transfer methods.
• Experience with BI and automation tools including Power BI, Looker, Tableau, or Python.
• Familiarity with evidence-based financial controls like audit or SOX-style frameworks.
