PHP Software Engineer 💻
Remote (GMT+1 overlap) | Global Team | 💸up to $22/h USD

🚀 The role:
Join a team maintaining a business-critical payment platform for a global trading company. High-load fintech, fully English-speaking team.
⚙️ What you’ll do:
• Maintain & improve high-load PHP payment platform
• Refactor & optimize codebase for performance/scalability
• Work with PostgreSQL/MySQL — query optimization & indexing
• Integrate external payment providers
• Ensure system reliability in production
✅ Must-have:
• 3+ years commercial PHP
• Strong Laravel or Symfony in production
• Deep SQL skills (optimization, indexing, tuning)
• Experience with medium-to-high complexity systems
• Fluent English — all interviews in English, full English environment
• Legal right to work long-term from current country (excl. Russia/Belarus)
🎯 Nice to have:
• AWS, microservices, React, TypeScript, Go
• Trading/fintech background
