Senior DevOps Engineer

What you will do

• Establish software architecture patterns with consistent HA, scale, security, monitoring, and configuration of AWS cloud and Linux containerized environments.
• Lead and coordinate with developers and embedded DevOps engineers working in an Agile framework.
• Architect and design production build, release, and deployment workflows for end-to-end mobile and web services automation.
• Act as a subject matter expert on DevOps best practices with CloudFormation, Auto Scaling Groups, and Configuration Management.
• Create DevOps tooling for automating build, release, and developer self-service processes using scripting languages.
• Support system troubleshooting and deployment across environments, coordinating with I.T. to solve server and environment issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience managing Linux-based infrastructure and supporting public/private cloud services in a high-volume, customer-facing environment.
• Strong experience working with AWS, developers in an Agile environment, and GIT workflows (branches, tags, hooks).
• Proficiency in building and deploying web services in a microservices paradigm using containers (Docker, LXC) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes) for production-ready, highly-available applications.
• Experience maintaining CI environments and managing CI/CD and automation processes using CI tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and configuration management tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform).
• 3+ years programming in Python, Golang, Perl, or Ruby, and 6 months building/deploying applications in Unity or equivalent mobile game engine.
