What you will do

• Ensure the reliability, scalability, performance, and security of our platform and products.
• Identify improvements to common tasks and self-service modules across the SDLC.
• Design, build, and maintain cost-effective cloud environments.
• Collaborate with central platform teams to support product onboarding.
• Seek out and implement efficiencies to erase toil, focusing on project work and lasting improvements.
• Act as a senior escalation point for production issues for internal and external customers.

Requirements

• Experience working in global cross-functional teams to solve problems at scale.
• Experience with DevOps and SRE best-practices.
• Advanced skills in AWS, Linux, Puppet, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and GitHub.
• Experience designing highly available and secure distributed systems that scale using AWS, Linux, and Kubernetes.
• Experience standardizing and improving the deployment process using common platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of how tools like New Relic or Grafana help observe product performance.
• Be part of an on-call rotation to provide support for the platform and customers.
• Enjoy creating efficiency through automation and ‘Infrastructure as Code’ using Python or Go.
