What you will do
- Design, execute, and analyze comprehensive performance tests (load, stress, endurance).
- Use tools like JMeter and/or k6 to create realistic test scenarios and validate system behavior.
- Execute functional and non-functional testing on REST APIs to ensure quality and reliability.
- Analyze performance test results, identify bottlenecks, and report key metrics to stakeholders.
- Maintain ongoing interaction with development and architecture teams to ensure alignment on quality standards.
- Participate in automated testing initiatives and research improvements to testing strategies.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in Quality Engineering or Performance Testing roles.
- Strong knowledge of performance testing methodologies, preferably with JMeter and/or k6.
- Proven experience in API and web service testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of databases and ability to perform data validation queries.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to identify bottlenecks and performance issues.
- Good communication skills and proven ability to work effectively in teams.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of a programming language, preferably JavaScript and/or Python.
- Previous experience in test automation, ideally with Playwright or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and integration pipelines.
- Experience in financial services or investment technology environments.
