What you will do

• Act as the technical lead for the VAST–Azure alliance, defining solution architectures and reference designs.
• Collaborate with Azure engineering, product management, and solution architects to validate integrations and optimize joint offerings.
• Drive solution enablement by creating technical assets such as deployment guides, whitepapers, and reference architectures.
• Partner with VAST and Azure field teams in strategic customer engagements, serving as a trusted solution advisor.
• Identify opportunities to innovate joint AI/ML, HPC, and enterprise data solutions on Azure with VAST’s platform.
• Influence VAST’s product roadmap with insights from Azure partnership initiatives and customer requirements.

Requirements

• 7+ years in solutions architecture, systems engineering, or technical alliance roles in cloud and/or data infrastructure.
• Deep technical expertise in cloud architectures, data platforms, and AI/ML/HPC ecosystems, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Azure technologies.
• Proven experience working in or with strategic cloud alliances (preferably Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, storage, and large-scale data management.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage executives, field teams, and customers alike.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
