What you will do
- Set technical direction for complex ML projects, balancing trade-offs and guiding team priorities.
- Design, implement, and maintain reliable, scalable ML/software systems, justifying architectural decisions.
- Define project problems, develop roadmaps, and oversee delivery across multiple work-streams.
- Drive the development of shared resources and libraries, guiding other engineers' contributions.
- Lead hiring processes and mentor multiple individuals to foster team growth.
- Act as a technical expert and coach for customers, estimating work-streams and defending rationale to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Technical expert among peers with broad knowledge to solve problems.
- Strong Python skills and practical experience operationalising models using frameworks like Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Expert in at least one major Cloud Solution Provider (Azure, GCP, AWS) and experience leading teams to build full-stack web applications.
- Hands-on experience with containerisation tools like Docker and orchestration via Kubernetes.
- Ability to successfully manage and coach a team of engineers, setting team-wide development goals.
- Excellent communication skills to proactively help customers and guide technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- English: B2 required
