Location: Hybrid model with in-person attendance required at least once per year for an onsite meeting. Work hours are optimized for the Pacific time zone (8am-6pm PT ad hoc meetings). All applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

Salary: $94,000–$145,000

What you will do

• Scope customer analysis requests and produce studies and results using SQL, R, and Python within agreed-upon deadlines.
• Collaborate with life sciences customers on analyses, helping them produce peer-reviewed publications.
• Provide technical analytics support and directly work with customers on calls to troubleshoot analyses.
• Teach customers how to wrangle and analyze data using SQL, R, and Python on Real World Data.
• Write regex queries using Databricks SQL to extract clinical concepts from clinical notes per customer request.
• Create enablement materials and deliver feedback to internal teams to inform hirify.global’s product roadmap.

Requirements

• Undergraduate or graduate-level education in clinical research, data analysis, clinical informatics, or a related field.
• Experience working with large databases consisting of millions of patients' data.
• 3+ years of experience wrangling and analyzing Electronic Health Record data or other Real World Data sources in life science companies, CROs, or healthcare using SQL, R, and Python.
• 2+ years of experience working with customers to deliver high-quality research analyses.
• Ability to learn new coding languages (including internal proprietary language) and adapt quickly in a dynamic startup environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship (e.g., F-1 OPT, H1-B) is not available.

Nice to have

• Regex query writing experience.
• Experience with statistics, regression, propensity score matching, Kaplan-Meier Analyses, or Survival Analyses.
• Spark/PySpark experience.
