QA Engineer (GameDev)

QA Engineer (GameDev): Driving product testing and defect management for video games with an accent on regression testing and documentation. Focus on coordinating tasks within a distributed team and communicating with foreign clients.

What you will do
- Drive product testing, report and document new defects, evaluate fixes, and help developers reproduce hard bugs.
- Perform regression testing.
- Create and maintain test-related documentation (test plans, test cases, checklists, etc.).
- Manage tasks within your own scope and coordinate work with peers.
- Communicate daily with the foreign Client QA team.
- Suggest risk mitigation plans for your tasks and follow existing team practices.
Requirements
- Passion for video games.
- Good spoken and written English (B2).
- Excellent understanding of software quality assurance concepts, debugging processes, and procedures.
- 2+ years of experience in testing and successfully delivered projects.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a distributed team.
- Solid experience with tracking and version control systems (JIRA, Perforce).
Nice to have
- Experience in mobile testing.
- Good knowledge and strict following of game development processes.
- Full understanding of the game’s design and how all the inter-dependencies work together.
- Experience in testing Mobile, PC, or Console games (PlayStation, Xbox).
