What you will do

• Define and drive a show’s visual style across 2D animation projects, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Lead, mentor, and support a team of 2D artists and illustrators.
• Translate creative vision into clear, production-ready direction.
• Collaborate with Creative, Production, and Technical teams to deliver high-quality work on time.
• Create and oversee concepts, color scripts, backgrounds, model sheets, and other guidelines.

Requirements

• Proven industry experience as a 2D Art Director or Senior 2D Artist in animation production.
• Strong portfolio showcasing 2D illustration, design, and visual storytelling.
• Deep understanding of animation pipelines and production workflows.
• Experience leading and mentoring creative teams.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for developing artists and elevating creative output.

Nice to have

• An understanding or experience with the arts, animation, gaming, and/or ‘internet nerd’ culture.
• Be extremely organized and have a strong work ethic.
