Frontend Engineering Intern (React)

Location: Remote (US-only) or hybrid from Boston, MA. US work authorization is required, as hirify.global does not sponsor applicants for work visas or legal permanent residence.

Salary: $38/hour – $45/hour

What you will do

• Join a team focused on creating, improving, and shipping well-factored, well-tested, and fast components for React applications.
• Build products utilizing Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
• Actively participate in code reviews to suggest improvements.
• Engage in team ceremonies, including standups, scrum, retrospectives, and refinement sessions.
• Develop predominantly front-end focused features in collaboration with other engineering teams.

Requirements

• A strong desire for continuous learning and improvement in software engineering.
• A friendly, flexible, curious, and pragmatic disposition.
• Experience with React JS for hands-on projects.
• Proficiency in fundamental front-end development, including HTML, CSS/SASS, and JavaScript.
• Must have US work authorization.

Nice to have

• Experience with TypeScript.
• Experience with TailwindCSS.
