TL;DR

Senior QA Engineer (ETL/Data): Developing and maintaining automated tests for ETL processes and data migrations with an accent on ensuring high data quality, validating data mappings, and business rules. Location: Elastic hybrid from Łódź, Warsaw, Gdańsk, or Gdynia (at least 3 days per week from the office)

Salary: 900–1100 PLN/day

What you will do

• Develop and maintain automated tests for ETL processes and data migrations.
• Validate data mappings, transformations, and business rules using SQL.
• Perform manual data testing and exploratory testing when needed.
• Understand mapping documents, data models, and integration requirements.
• Collaborate with ETL developers and stakeholders on projects using IBM DataStage, Informatica, or similar tools.
• Support regression testing and release activities while working in a Scrum team.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software quality assurance.
• Experience in automated QA for ETL and data projects.
• Strong SQL/PL-SQL skills and solid knowledge of relational databases.
• Good understanding of ETL, ODS, and data warehousing concepts.
• Manual testing experience with strong attention to data quality.
• Familiarity with Git-based tools (e.g., Bitbucket).
• Experience working in Agile (Scrum/SAFe) environments.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Work from Łódź, Warsaw, Gdańsk, or Gdynia at least 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience working directly with IBM DataStage, Informatica, or similar ETL/Data Integration tool.
