What you will do

• Assist in preparing test procedures and executing detailed engineering procedures.
• Inspect, diagnose, and perform basic repairs on returned electronic units.
• Assist in building and testing electronics prototypes.
• Report on project schedules and manage project materials in inventory.
• Enter parts orders and support material/product shipments.

Requirements

• Electronic Systems Engineering Technology diploma or equivalent experience.
• 2 to 4 years of experience as an electronics technologist or Co-op internships.
• Basic experience with test and measurement equipment such as digital multimeters and oscilloscopes.
• Experience with soldering electronics, including SMT components.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with test scripting/programming (Python, Labview) and development modules (Arduino, ESP32).
• Experience with EMC testing or automated test systems.
• Experience with schematic editing and PCB layouts.
• Interest or experience with electronics design.
