What you will do

• Design and implement scalable core platform services that integrate seamlessly into the hirify.global ecosystem.
• Work closely with product managers, QA, Architecture, Delivery, and DevOps teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Own the quality of your code through a Developer-Led Testing (DLT) mode, which includes writing unit, integration, contract, and e2e tests.
• Pair-program daily with AI tools (Claude Code/Cursor) to implement features, refactor code, and accelerate development while remaining accountable for the final output's correctness and security.
• Test, deploy, and maintain software solutions while identifying and troubleshooting issues in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Strong backend engineering fundamentals with proficiency in Java; experience with Python, NodeJS, or TypeScript is a significant plus.
• Experience building frontends using modern frameworks such as Angular (RxJS, NgRx) or React (Hooks, Redux/RTK).
• Hands-on experience with AWS services, including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, and CloudWatch.
• Ability to design RESTful APIs with OpenAPI/Swagger and a strong understanding of system design for scalability and observability.
• Comfort and willingness to use AI coding assistants and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
