What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models for global clients across diverse industries.
• Develop and optimize DAX measures, calculated columns, and data models to ensure accuracy, performance, and scalability.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to understand data structures and ensure BI layer integration with upstream pipelines and cloud data platforms.
• Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and translate them into clear, intuitive visualizations.
• Maintain data quality and consistency across reports, with attention to lineage, documentation, and best practices.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI development in a commercial environment.
• Strong DAX proficiency and a solid understanding of data modeling concepts.
• Experience connecting Power BI to a variety of data sources including Azure Synapse, SQL databases, Databricks, or data lakehouses.
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Ability to work independently, communicate with stakeholders, and take ownership of analytics deliverables.
• Good understanding of report performance optimization and Power BI service deployment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI Premium or Fabric.
• Familiarity with Azure data ecosystem (Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, ADLS).
• Exposure to Python or PySpark for data preparation.
• Knowledge of CI/CD for Power BI assets (Azure DevOps, Tabular Editor, ALM Toolkit).
• Basic understanding of data engineering concepts and Lakehouse architecture.
