Technical Support Training Consultant: Enabling new and existing Technical Support Engineers to deliver high-quality support for hirify.global Backup & Replication v13 and hirify.global Data Cloud (VDC) products with an accent on technical expertise, structured troubleshooting methodology, and Japanese customer-handling excellence. What you will do
- Design and deliver structured onboarding and advanced training for VBR v13 architecture, features, workflows, and best practices, and VDC platform capabilities.
- Deliver hands-on training on systematic troubleshooting methodologies and advanced log analysis for VBR and VDC.
- Translate and localize training materials from English to clear, professional Japanese.
- Conduct recurring monthly training for L1 Technical Support Engineers covering case lifecycle management and effective triage and prioritization.
- Deliver targeted training focused on Japanese customer expectations, including polite communication and managing escalations professionally.
- Continuously monitor product enhancements and major and minor releases to deliver release-ready training immediately after GA.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with hirify.global Backup & Replication, virtualization and storage platforms, and log analysis and troubleshooting.
- Prior experience in technical support, escalation/ATS, technical enablement, or training.
- Fluent Japanese (native-level preferred).
- Strong professional English reading comprehension.
- Proven ability to translate technical English into accurate Japanese.
- High technical curiosity and learning velocity.
