Scrum Master (Agile)

What you will do

• Serve as a leader to Scrum Teams and Product Owners to support high-value solution delivery.
• Remove impediments and protect the team from distractions to maintain focus and flow.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure the product backlog is well-refined and ready for upcoming sprints.
• Guide and coach the Scrum Team and broader organization on Agile/Scrum practices and values.
• Improve communication, visibility, and information transparency across the team and stakeholders.

Requirements

• First-level Scrum Master certification (PSM I, CSM).
• 1+ year of experience as a Scrum Master or similar role for a software development team.
• Strong understanding of servant leadership, facilitation, conflict resolution, and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of Scrum patterns and techniques (e.g., burndowns, retrospectives, backlog refinement, defect handling).
• Experience with Agile techniques: Epics, User Stories, Backlog Tracking, Burndown Metrics, Velocity, Task Definition.
• Experience supporting development of medical devices or regulated software, including documentation.
• Fluent English required.
• Must be based in or able to work from Hungary (hybrid work environment).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with additional Agile approaches (e.g., XP, Kanban, SAFe).
