Title: Ruby on Rails (ROR) Developer – Vue.jsLocation: 100% Remote within Canada (must be physically based in Canada)Type: Contract (independent-Contractor / C2C / T4 to be agreed)

Summary We are looking to hire a Ruby on Rails Developer with strong Vue.js experience for a fully remote, Canada‑based contract role. The developer will own backend and frontend features, working end‑to‑end on scalable web applications built on a Rails API and modern Vue.js UI. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Ruby on Rails backend services and APIs following best practices (RESTful endpoints, background jobs, etc.).

• Collaborate with product, UX, and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Write clean, testable, and well‑documented code in both Ruby and JavaScript/TypeScript where applicable.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues across the full stack (database, Rails, Vue.js, browser).
• Work with Git‑based workflows (feature branches, pull requests, code reviews) and CI pipelines.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, provide estimates, and help plan and deliver sprint commitments.

Core Skills & Experience

• Solid Vue.js experience building SPAs or complex front ends (components, routing, state management).
• Comfortable working full‑stack: integrating Vue.js front ends with Rails backends and RESTful APIs.

• Experience writing unit and integration tests (RSpec, Minitest, Jest, Vitest, Cypress, etc.).
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Based in Canada , able to work remotely with good communication and self‑management.

Nice to have: experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), Docker, GraphQL, or TypeScript,ROR
