What you will do
- Design, develop, and operate the control planes for cloud network services (e.g., Load Balancer, WAF, CDN, VPN, API Gateway).
- Design and implement robust, scalable, and customer-friendly REST APIs for network products.
- Develop software for the complete automation of provisioning, configuration, and management of network services.
- Work on the architecture of distributed systems, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.
- Ensure code quality through reviews, unit and integration tests, and further develop CI/CD pipelines.
- Support the operation of self-developed services (DevOps approach) and analyze and resolve complex software issues.
Requirements
- Degree in computer science, a comparable qualification, or relevant professional experience.
- Expert in at least one modern programming language, ideally Go.
- Solid experience with cloud technologies such as Kubernetes, containers (Docker), and microservice architectures.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, API design (REST, gRPC), and databases (SQL/NoSQL).
- Experience with DevOps culture, CI/CD (e.g., GitLab CI, ArgoCD), and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
- Good basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS) or a strong interest in delving into Cloud Networking.
- Good English skills are required.
