What you will do

• Design and implement scalable, robust APIs in Golang.
• Enforce best practices in coding, testing, and documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges in development and production environments.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and strategic planning for the backend ecosystem.
• Take complete ownership of your code end-to-end with a clear sense of urgency.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Design teams to shape innovative features.

Requirements

• Workplace proficiency in at least one or more programming languages (e.g., Go, Python, or similar).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of database design and modeling (e.g., PostgreSQL).
• Proven track record developing scalable systems and RESTful services.
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Understanding of automated testing, deployment processes, and tools.
• Ability to work hybrid in our NYC office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
