What you will do

• Architect for scale and reliability, designing and validating core platform components.
• Elevate engineering standards by defining and evangelizing coding standards, CI/CD pipelines, and observability practices.
• Lead architecture and code reviews, coaching senior engineers for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, security, and infrastructure teams on non-functional requirements.
• Build tooling and automation to streamline testing, deployment, monitoring, and remediation workflows.
• Monitor and optimize systems by analyzing metrics, troubleshooting incidents, and recommending improvements.
• Prototype and validate solutions, running proof-of-concepts and benchmarking for adoption plans.

Requirements

• 8+ years building large-scale distributed or cloud-native services.
• Hands-on experience in microservices, event-driven architectures, and API design.
• Demonstrable track record of driving significant performance, reliability, or scalability improvements in production.
• Passionate about CI/CD, test automation, observability, and incident post-mortem culture.
• Excellent communication skills, able to translate deep technical topics to various stakeholders.
• Autonomous and strategic, balancing short-term delivery with long-term platform health and roadmap vision.
